Audit ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team and oversee the audit department's operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting financial statements, Uniform Guidance audits, and conducting audits for clients in the Non-Profit Industry.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage auditing staff and ensure that audits are conducted in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)Create audit plans and schedules and ensure that deadlines are metPerform risk assessments and identify potential areas of concernReview and analyze financial statements, audit reports, and other relevant documentation to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsProvide recommendations for improving internal controls and operational efficienciesPrepare Form 990 for clients in the Non-Profit sectorMaintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer serviceConduct research and stay up-to-date with changes in auditing standards and regulationsQualificationsCPA Certification is requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in Auditing, preferably in Public AccountingExpertise in ProSystem Engagement, ProSystem fx Tax, and PPC Smart ToolsProficient in Quickbooks, Excel, and MS Office SuiteStrong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex financial dataExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong strategic planning skills and ability to meet deadlinesExperience with NFP (Not-for-profit) audits and Form 990 filings is preferredBenefits PTO and Holidays.
