What You'll Be DoingProvide technical safety and health support and information to production and corporate personnelConduct Safety training for new employees at various locations, in varied conditionsTravel for this role is currently 100%Extensive job site walking, climbing, and equipment demonstrations frequentlyPrepare written safety and health programs and policiesIdentify company safety training needs and develop and coordinate safety training programsDevelop annual company safety and health goalsParticipate in new product/process reviews including process hazard analysis, Operator Training, etc.Support corporate/field needs to implement engineering controls to minimize safety and occupational health hazardsSupport personnel in selection and training with appropriate personal protective equipment.Manage PPE inventory across the countryMaintain Safety Records via Quick Base database and scanned, traditional recordsMaintain corporate safety library (e.g. videos, regulations, reference manuals)Promote safety and health awareness through internal company memoranda, newsletters, and specific training programsParticipate in various Safety CommitteesReview process operating procedures/batch records and provide input for safety and health considerationsUnderstand Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations and monitor regulatory changes (through Federal Register, etc.) as they occurProvide technical support to corporate and personnel to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulationsAdvise offices and corporate staff of regulatory changes with which the offices must comply. Sufficient advance notice should be provided so that compliance on the effective date of new regulations is assuredConduct onsite Safety auditsHost multiple online, audio, and jobsite Safety meetings with small and large groupsMonitor lost-time injuries/illnesses and Worker's Compensation ClaimsManage post-incident reportingRespond to field employee with ongoing Safety supportReview injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follow-up as necessaryWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in a safety science/engineering/industrial hygiene discipline or equivalent working experienceMinimum 7+ years of commercial electrical experienceWorking knowledge of Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations, NEPA, ANSI with a strong knowledge of OSHA regulationsAbility to travel 100% is requiredOSHA 500 requiredExperience using Construction Aerial, Industrial, and Earth Moving Equipment strongly preferredAbility to communicate both verbally and through writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable mannerAbility to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency, and complete them in a timely and professional mannerProficiency in MS Office SuiteBenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommuteEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
