Solid work/life balance! Great pay! Great team culture!Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Consulting Conventional Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is critical to our operations, as you will be responsible for the creation and modification of custom parts and prototypes, using a variety of conventional machining techniques. As a Consulting Conventional Machinist, you will be expected to apply your expertise in tool and die, mill, and lathe operations to meet our manufacturing objectives. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a related field.Responsibilities: Consult on the design, development, and fabrication of high-quality parts and prototypes. Operate and maintain a variety of conventional machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and grinders. Utilize precision measurement tools to ensure the accuracy and quality of all produced parts. Assist in the development and execution of production schedules and workflows. Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project specifications and requirements. Apply knowledge of tool and die to create and modify custom tooling. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment performance and part quality. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Provide expert advice and guidance to junior machinists and other team members. Continually evaluate machining processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and quality.Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in operating and maintaining conventional machining equipment including mills, lathes, and grinders. Proficient in the use of precision measurement tools. Extensive experience in tool and die, with the ability to create and modify custom tooling. Strong understanding of production processes, materials, and quality control procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with engineers, designers, and other team members. A commitment to safety, with a track record of adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
