is seeking to hire a General Maintenance Associate for our client in Bloomingdale, Ga! Pay $19.00/HourM-F 8am-12pm about 20 hours a weekEntry level role in warehouse sanitation / general maintenanceCould be someone right out of high school or a parent that needs to work around school schedules.Primary job is riding on a floor scrubber.Responsible for sweeping the floorsMust haves:-At least 6 months recent work experience-Maintenance / Janitorial experienceCandidate must understand:Work will be conducted in warehouse conditions (not climate controlled.)Candidate will present themselves in a professional wayCandidate must be reliableAs part of the Facilities team, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that standards regarding cleanliness, amenities, and maintenance of all three properties is adhered.Responsibilities:Follow weekly/monthly cleaning schedule as providedMake suggestions for continuous improvement.Maintain cleaning stations, janitorial areas & supplies in 5-S manor.Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available and in adequate amounts.Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies either manually or by using hand trucks.Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.Qualifications:Ability to organize and prioritize work.Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.Physical Requirements:Requires standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and/or squatting.Requires getting into positions such as kneeling, crouching, stooping, or crawling.Regularly requires carrying objects that are up to 50lbsby hand.
