Good Smile Connect is looking for a Licensing Coordinator to join the licensing team in the Los Angeles Branch. A successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic who possesses excellent organization skills, demonstrated professional written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task. The Licensing Coordinator will collaborate with the Product Development and Marketing teams, assisting and supporting the execution of Product Development and Marketing programs across all licenses and ensures all assets and submissions have been vetted and approved by licensors and deadlines have been met. Job Description:Assist and support Product Development and Marketing teams on organization and trafficking/routing of incoming product submissionsAggregates all product submissions and coordinates feedback with the necessary teamOversees deliverables and keeps track of timelines to ensure production schedules are metUploads approved assets and shares with teamMaintains Licensor lists and contract rightsAssists with the preparation / presentation of internal and external meetingsAssists team in researching & identifying key industry trendsSupport with general day-to-day responsibilities, new initiatives, and projectsCoordinate both in-bound and out-bound shipments of samples to licensorsHelp develop decks for both internal and external presentationsCreate quarterly royalty reports for licensorsQualifications:Highly detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments through prioritizationAbility to build solid relationships across internal and external partnersAbility to project manage and capable of meeting deadlines and adapting to fast paced environmentDisplay ability to multitask, managing a variety of initiatives / issues simultaneouslyExceptional organization skills/process orientedCapable of working with multiple managers on the teamSelf-starter, motivated and proactive, flexibleFriendly, people-oriented team player1-2 years of experience in licensing / brand managementFluent level Japanese - verbal and written a plus but not requiredStrong math skills, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google software including but not limited to Word/Google Docs, Excel/Google Sheets, and Powerpoint/Google SlidesPossess problem solving qualities, ability to prioritize and adjust to the circumstances, and a high degree of efficiency in time management skillsInterest in anime, video games, US and Japanese pop culture and trends.
