You'll leverage your deep understanding of global EHS regulations to create programs that align with Melaleuca's core mission of enhancing lives. Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Operations, you'll become a strategic partner, shaping the long-term vision for EHS while upholding our core values.Safety & Environmental ChampionDevelop comprehensive safety and environmental improvement strategies.Conduct safety assessments and lead cultural surveys to identify areas for improvement.Implement programs to minimize injury risks, reduce worker's compensation costs, and ensure regulatory compliance.Manage teams and ensure safety programs enhance employee knowledge and compliance globally.Lead facility personnel in developing and implementing safety plans.Develop and deliver training programs to meet regulatory deadlines.Manage environmental activities, ensuring facilities comply with environmental laws.Regulatory Compliance ExpertGuide the organization in understanding and complying with global regulations.Act as a subject matter expert on global EHS regulations and best practices.Manage facility environmental compliance assessments.Prepare regulatory reports and negotiate settlements with regulatory agencies.Review capital projects for environmental impact and obtain necessary permits.Conduct environmental due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.Lead environmental personnel and cross-functional teams on compliance issues.Strategic LeadershipEstablish global training standards and deliver training materials.Develop and implement strategic programs that drive environmental stewardship.Foster communication between key stakeholders on environmental initiatives.Provide leadership and direction on environmental compliance and sustainability programs.Building a Culture of SafetyMonitor worker's compensation performance and develop cost-control strategies.Identify locations with high incident rates and implement targeted prevention activities.Lead the development and implementation of safety performance metrics tracking systems.Who We SeekPassionate leader with a proven track record in safety and environmental improvement.Strong understanding of U.S., Mexican, Chinese, and other global EHS regulations.Experience managing successful teams and mentoring safety personnel.Knowledge of Melaleuca processes, facilities, and business objectives.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team facilitation skills.Ability to travel 40% of the time globally.Minimum Requirements10+ years of HSE Management experience in a global multisite companyExperience managing successful teamsStrong analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to travel up to 40% including internationallyExperience in consumer products, food & beverage preferredUS work authorization and eligibility to relocate to Idaho Falls, ID (relocation assistance provided)Join Melaleuca and make a difference!
