Compensation: $36.00 to $45.00 per hourGeneral Responsibilities:This role will be supporting the data center construction for Encore ElectricMaintain open communication lines with all working relationshipsFollow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are performedEarn and maintain customer's trustUphold the core values of the organizationWork well with others to accomplish the mission of the organization and of the jobSpecific ResponsibilitiesVDC CoordinatorSupport the CAD needs of the Preconstruction, Marketing, Prefabrication, and Field construction teams, including but not limited to:Data Center workWork in 3D modelsCreate Install Drawings2-D CAD Details3-D CAD DrawingsAs-Built DrawingsLink and Maintain Index SheetsOrganizational ChartsSeating ChartsProposal BoardsMaintain CAD file archivesStay current with required training for the company's CAD requirementsQuality assurance of work productOther duties as may be assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of:AutoCAD MEPNavisworks ManageRevit Bluebeam RevuMicrosoft OfficeSkill in:Acting as a self-starterWorks well with othersSpatial orientationCustomer managementListeningSpeaking intelligentlyEstimating resources needed to complete required tasksAdapting to new and changing requirements, environments, and/or informationManaging complex projects, breaking them down to their component levelsUsing communication softwareEffective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to elicit and communicate information and achieve understandingEstablishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers, vendors, consultants, management, and employeesOperating a computerOperate Microsoft office productsOrganizing work to accomplish tasksReading and writingPrioritizing and reprioritizing to meet job needsProblem-solving under pressureTime ManagementAbility to:Retain and access critical information from memoryConceptually estimate and provide input on demand at design meetingsConceptualize and visualize the project for constructability means and methodsThink on your feetUnderstand when to speak and when not to speakBe personally detached from ideas (no ego)See things from multiple perspectivesREQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or equivalent, along with an A.A.S. Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or equivalent, is required.Must have experience with Revit Software and 3D drafting and modeling.Experience with Data Center work is highly desired.
