RTW Product Developer

Our collections are distributed online at , in Fleur du Mal Boutiques, and through top retailers globally.Who You Are:You are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for luxury ready-to-wear development. With 3-4 years of experience in RTW product development, you bring strong technical knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both local and overseas vendors. You thrive in collaborative settings, are proficient in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel, and have a keen eye for exquisite craftsmanship in apparel construction.What You'll Do:As the RTW Product Developer, you will be essential in supporting the RTW development process and bridging development and production through each season's pass-off. You'll work hands-on with our Creative and Technical Designers, ensuring that craftsmanship meets the highest standards. You will:Assist the Senior Designer in launching protos and SMS samples both locally and overseas.Ensure that tech pack details are accurately executed by the factory and clarify any factory inquiries.Communicate daily with vendors both locally and overseas.Oversee the development of trims and embellishments overseas.Attend key collection milestones and ensure all prototypes are available for fittings.Attend prototype fittings and ensure any updates in trims and fabrics are recorded in BOMs and communicated to factories.Review SMS samples and lead BOM pass-off with production.Align fabric details and retrieve FDSs for each season accurately.Maintain BOMs throughout the development process.Partner with Design, Tech, and Production to ensure pricing tech-packs are finalized.Update BOMs to reflect any design changes after SMS pass-off.Act as the primary contact for factories on BOM-related queries.Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, ensuring clear communication.You'll Need to Have:Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving abilities with a sense of urgency.3-4 years of experience in RTW product development.Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.Technical capabilities and strong product knowledge of apparel construction and production to support decision-making.We'd Love to See:Experience working collaboratively within a passionate, close-knit team.A strong portfolio showcasing your work in product development for ready-to-wear.Familiarity with high-end fabrics, trims, and embellishments used in luxury apparel.Experience in building and maintaining vendor relationships.Additional Details:LocationThis is a full-time, in-office position usually requiring five days per week onsite.Salary$70,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience.BenefitsEmployee discounts, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401k, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, and more.To be strongly considered, applicants are encouraged submit portfolios to lilyp@
