We are seeking a skilled Water Damage Restoration Technician to join our team and help us continue to provide outstanding service.Job DescriptionPosition Summary: The Water Damage Restoration Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to water damage restoration, including assessment, cleanup, and repair of affected areas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with water damage restoration processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Inspection: Evaluate the extent of water damage in residential and commercial properties, using specialized equipment to detect moisture levels and assess structural damage.Water Extraction: Operate water extraction equipment to remove standing water from affected areas, including carpets, flooring, and furniture.Drying & Dehumidification: Set up and monitor drying and dehumidification equipment to ensure thorough drying of affected areas and prevention of mold growth.Cleaning & Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize affected areas, including removal of contaminated materials, and application of antimicrobial treatments as needed.Restoration & Repair: Assist in the restoration and repair of damaged structures, including drywall, flooring, and other building materials.Documentation: Document the restoration process and provide detailed reports on the extent of damage, work performed, and any additional recommendations.Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on the restoration process, address concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, and comply with industry standards and regulations.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in water damage restoration or a related field preferred. Experience with water extraction, drying, and remediation techniques is required.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) in Water Damage Restoration or Applied Structural Drying are highly desirable.Skills: Proficient in operating water damage restoration equipment and tools, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent attention to detail.Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks in various environments.Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Benefits401k planBonusesOvertimeBi-annual pay raisesEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
