Civil Construction EstimatorPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Civil Construction Estimator with at least 2+ years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for marine construction projects, including piers and dredging operations.Prior Marine construction experience is NOT a requirement, but it will absolutely make your resume stand out.At minimum, qualified candidates will have 2+ years of estimating heavy civil projects involving concrete, earthwork, foundations, utilities, etc.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for marine construction projects.Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine project requirements.Evaluate and quantify materials, labor, and equipment necessary for project completion.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions.Utilize estimating software, including HCSS, to create and maintain accurate estimates.Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project conditions.Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.Monitor project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.Required Qualifications2+ years marine OR heavy civil estimating experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Marine Engineering, or related field.Strong knowledge of marine construction practices, including piers and dredging.HCSS experienceBenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401K with match Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
