Projects in the Charlotte area are primarily large-scale >$20 million across 15 different markets.DescriptionPreconstruction Management - leading overall preconstruction effort across a team of 8 estimators Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop project goals, scopes and feasibility Foster a collaborative working environment with project managers, superintendents, and other departmentsLead internal team meetings to discuss project progress, risk management, and strategies for optimization Develop strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and interviews for new projects Lead the development of comprehensive project schedules, identifying critical path items and potential risksEnsure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements during preconstruction planningProfile15+ years experience within the construction industry in an estimating/preconstruction roleExperience managing a team of estimators, ideally 5+ direct reports 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study desiredMust have an outstanding business acumen and professional demeanor to manage client relationshipsExpertise in negotiated bid proposals Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and contractsSoftware proficiency with the following preferred but not required: Procore, AutoDesk, Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, REVITJob OfferBase salary contingent on experience, OTE 250K+ $800/mo vehicle allowance + gas card401K with employer matchExcellent health benefits PTO + company holidays + sick daysOutstanding employee profit sharing program!!Apply now for immediate consideration within 48 business hours!
