As Director of Quality, you'll oversee quality control, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring products meet regulatory standards and customer needs. With a commitment to innovation and quality, my client provides reliable solutions that meet the demanding requirements of their customers.DescriptionThe Director of Quality in this role will have exposure to the following areas:Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.Leadership: Motivate and inspire teams, acting as a mentor and coach. Champion new initiatives and systems that drive business growth and efficiency.Communication: Effectively articulate ideas both verbally and in writing. Deliver compelling presentations and foster a culture of responsible decision-making.Problem-Solving: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify and resolve complex issues, meeting the needs of internal and external customers.Compliance Management: Develop and implement systems to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Collaborate with operations to support continuous improvement while maintaining regulatory adherence.Business Acumen: Demonstrate a deep understanding of business operations. Identify and champion innovative technologies and processes that enhance customer relationships and drive business objectives.Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.ProfileA successful Director of Quality will have:Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required. A professional certification, MBA, or technical Master's degree is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive managerial experience in a regulated industry, such as aerospace, automotive, medical device, or pharmaceutical. Experience in discrete parts manufacturing is essential.Certifications: Certification by a recognized quality organization, like the American Society for Quality, is strongly preferred. Certifications such as Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Manager, or Certified Quality Engineer are a plus.Technical Skills: Ability to interpret and communicate engineering requirements and read technical drawings. Knowledge of industry standards is preferred.Leadership: Proven ability to create a compelling strategic vision and inspire sustained organizational action. Effective leader who mentors and develops team members through coaching and performance management.Cultural Development: Proven track record of creating a culture of accountability and ownership.Collaboration: Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.Interpersonal Skills: Must work effectively at all levels within the organization and with external partners.
