They do not hire people on a project-to-project basis and want to make it clear that they do not plan to hire people without knowing that they are able to keep them on for the long-haulProjects include K-12 Schools, Higher Education, and Industrial/Healthcare DescriptionThe Superintendent is responsible for:Overseeing & managing Large Public Academic projects from start through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standardsCoordinating & collaborating with necessary project paritesLeading site personnel, providing guidance to ensure the highest levels of safety, productivity, and performanceDeveloping relationships with clients, and maintaining open lines of communicationManaging project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, daily logs, and progress reportsProactively identifying opportunities for improvementEstablishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all individuals involved in the projectUpholding company image / professionalismProfileThe right candidate has the following qualifications:5+ years experience as a Superintendent / Assistant Super with a GCCommutable to RI areaStrong background in large scale ground-up commercial work along the lines of (K-12, higher-ed, institutional, state, federal, healthcare - not residential or multifamilySolid Tenure with a reputable GCProven ability to run a large job - the project will be around $60M - open to someone who has a lot of LARGE project experience as a second super and is ready to take that next stepJob OfferThe Superintendent will receive:Competitive base salary up to $150K (pending experience)Mileage reimbursementCompany phone & laptopCompany truckRecession proof business modelTons of room for growth& more!MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
