Capital Area Accessory DistributorsLocation: 222 Gregson Dr, Cary, North Carolina 27511Job DescriptionSummary: To process the shipping and receiving of parts through the Parts Department.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:Controls receipt of inventoryReceives incoming shipments, checking the packing slip with actual shipment for completeness and accuracy before placement in appropriate warehouse locationIdentifies and reports all overages and shortagesStocks parts and accessories in correct bin locationsNotifies appropriate personnel of receipt of all special ordersPerforms inventory test counts as directed by managementLoads and unloads trucksMay operate a forklift to move materials and unload vehiclesMaintains an organized, clean and safe work areaMaintains CSI at or above company standardsParticipates in required trainingRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.Demonstrates the Company's Core ValuesComplies with Company policies and proceduresObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.Other duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and companypersonnel.Attendance Expectations:The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work includes frequent movement around the dealership facilities and the outdoor car lot and movement in and out of cars.Environment Demands:Duties are performed primarily in the Parts Department. Work includes moving throughout the Parts Department and frequent moving and shelving of parts.Verbal and Writing Ability:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
