Project Manager Opportunity with a Leading General Contractor in Cincinnati, OHOne of the most highly respected General Contractors in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. This award-winning, financially strong company has a long history of excellence in commercial construction.Role Overview:The Project Manager will provide leadership for the execution of successful outcomes on Commercial Construction projects. You'll guide the project team with a customer-focused approach, ensuring open communication, clear direction, and high expectations.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase.Read and interpret Construction Plans and Specifications.Mentor less experienced Project Management staff on effective project management practices.Develop and maintain long-term relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to secure future project opportunities.Oversee Subcontractor and Vendor procurement, including buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, and insurance and bonding reviews.Resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and errors.Manage Submittals, RFIs, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, Time Sheet Management, Subcontractor/Vendor Billings, and Monthly Reports.Verify work-in-place quantities and Subcontractor/Supplier billings for timely Owner Billings.Ensure accurate monthly cost projections and oversee Project Schedules and progress updates.Qualifications:8-15 years of experience preferredB.S. in Construction preferred but experience is fine as wellPaternity leave for dad's with new babies!Do company events like cookouts and tailgates at the Bengals gamesProjects include Non-Profit, Office, Healthcare, Mixed-Use, Retail valued up to $10MPM's act as the superintendents as well.
