At our client, the Director of Quality will be responsible for leading the Quality Department through all aspects of Quality Engineering and Product Inspection, as well as maintaining the QMS. This role reports directly into the President, and holds high regard within the company.Client DetailsOur client is a leader within the Aerospace Contract Manufacturing space, working on a variety of valve products, sub assemblies, and components. They have more than 50 years within the industry, and pride themselves on constant innovation and technical excellence within AS9100 standards.DescriptionThe Director of Quality will be responsible for:Quality Assurance Expertise: Serve as the primary resource for identifying, resolving, and reporting quality issues while driving continuous improvement.Effective Prioritization and Multitasking: Manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently in a dynamic product environment.Audit Oversight: Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with certifications and customer/supplier requirements.Problem-Solving: Facilitate root-cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to develop effective solutions and process enhancements.Performance Reporting: Coordinate periodic management reviews and ensure accurate reporting of monthly performance metrics.ProfileThe successful Director of Quality will have:Bachelors Degree in a Technical Field OR 10+ years experience within Quality at an Aerospace Manufacturer7-10 years experience within ManufacturingAS9100 familiarity requiredManagement experience of at least 3 yearsFAA Experience and NADCAP experience preferredWillingness to be Hands-OnStrong CommunicationJob OfferOn offer for the Director of Quality is:Strong Compensation package including bonus potentialCompetitive Benefits, including 401k MatchingStrong Company CultureCareer Growth OpportunityAPPLY TODAY!
