Technical Support Lead - 75-85 on W2 or C2CBased at PJM with dedicated service to PJM EISPrimarily working remote, with occasional need to be on campus40 hours/week, 8-5, 1 positionGENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:Provide technical support, software development, and support to the Generation Attribute Tracking System (GATS), a renewable energy tracking system owned and operated by PJM Environmental Information Services Inc. (PJM EIS). Supervise a team of 2-3 developers/testers, interface with internal business leads and internal customer support personnel, interface with external vendors, and provide technical support for external customers as needed. Business AnalysisRequirements gatheringCreate Business Requirements Documents and Design DocumentsCreate/update SQL queries to support business leadsReview and update corporate policies and procedures for Information TechnologyProject ManagementCreate and track project plansInterface with external vendors for tasks/projects like vulnerability scans and patchingQuality AssuranceCreate Test Plans and execute tests.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Possess a working knowledge of PJM EIS, GATS and the renewable energy market. Develop/maintain technical documentation of the GATS system. This may include database design, UI design, and Interface design documentationSupervise the development of new interfaces or enhancing existing interfacesDirect the work of GATS developers on UI enhancements and bug fixes.Ensure thorough testing of enhancements and bug fixes in the GATS System, both the API and the UIProvide technical support for users of the GATS application and interfacesDevelop an understanding of PJM EIS acronyms and terminologyRelate well to all kinds of people; work effectively with individuals and groups at various levels in a constructive and collaborative manner; build and utilize effective working relationships in a matrix environment and across functional, departmental and divisional reporting lines.Understand PJM EIS' and PJM's organizational structure and the business responsibilities within each areaMotivated to learn and keep up to date on PJM EIS' evolving business and technology platforms.Performs assigned tasks including administrative duties.COMPETENCIES:Knowledge of Company:General knowledge of company's organizational structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values and code of conduct.Knowledge of PJM EISThis position is responsible for acquiring knowledge of PJM EIS technical environment to assist in improving and streamlining it.
