We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Officer to oversee the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-money Laundering (AML) / Customer Identification Program (CIP) / Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) / and Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) compliance programs, as well as the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program for a reputable financial institution in Olney.Requirements:Minimum of Associate Degree, prefer Bachelor's Degree in business-related studyMinimum five years of prior experience in bank operations, deposit account opening, mortgage lending, or loan operationsFormal bank-related training or certifications are helpfulStrong ability to read, interpret, and apply government laws and regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProficient in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, Word, and OutlookDuties and Responsibilities:Review and recommend updates for BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC/SAR policiesInitiate ongoing program training for all employees and new process implementationResearch issues and questions related to compliance mattersChairperson of the Compliance CommitteeReview loan, deposit, and consumer disclosures for regulatory complianceAssemble compliance-related information for audits and examinationsCompany Benefits:Competitive compensation with discretionary year-end bonusComprehensive employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and Section 125Paid vacation, sick, and personal time, plus federal holidays401k with ESOP and a discretionary employer match in bank stockIf you meet the requirements and are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the banking industry, we encourage you to apply for this position.
