Monday Friday - 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pmJob SummaryThe Production Clerk position is responsible for warehouse and productionadministrative functions covering a combination of some or all of thefollowing:Maintain accurate production records & complete productionconfirmations/consumptions in SAP daily, including closing production ordersAssist with the cycle count process, complete cycle counts andinvestigate inventory discrepanciesRecording plant metrics and or key performance indicators(KPIs).Monitor and maintain min/max levels, reorder points, &safety stock levels for maintenance, safety & operating supplies.Purchasing production and maintenance consumables in purchasingsoftwareEssential FunctionsComplete daily production confirmations (TECOs) in SAP for processordersInvestigate and or resolve consumption errors.Prior to SAP job closure, review operator data entry to ensure accuracy of rawmaterials consumption and production cycle time (line events)Enter data in toSAP.Troubleshoot operator SAP data entry errors, investigate barriers to job closure, etcAssist with the creation and entering of cycle count documentation in SAPPerform cycle counts on the plant floor, including weighing material, and documentingweightsMonitor and maintain inventory levels for operating, safety and maintenancesuppliesEffectively utilize purchasing software (Coupa) to purchasenon-BOM materials, maintain vendors and maintain accurate pricingOwn, manage and improve upon production CANBAN systems forinventory managementMay assist with updating and maintaining production trainingrecordsManage time and communication via Microsoft OutlookOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDComputer proficiencyProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Experience with an ERP (SAP preferred) systemExperience with an MRO Purchasing system (Coupa preferred)Strong math, measurement, and reading skillsAbility to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environmentAbilities in prioritization, multi-tasking and problem solving while maintaining strong attention to detailAdditional QualificationsPersonal Skills - Quantitative Skills, Self-Motivated, Ability to Multitask, Ability toWork Independently, Time ManagementLeader of Self - Instills Trust, Action Oriented, Collaborates, Customer Focus,Demonstrates Self-Awareness, Communicates EffectivelyAbilityto work in an office and manufacturing environmentMicrosoft Office Suite proficiency (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting but may be requiredto stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.The employee may frequently be required to walkThe employee is occasionallyrequired to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hearThe employee will occasionallybe required to lift and/or move up to 65 poundsWhile performing the duties ofthis job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts,toxic or caustic chemicals, and fumes or airborne particlesThe noise level inthe work environment ranges from normal office noise levels to loud.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
