 Job Description Job Title: Digital Content Specialist Department Name: Marketing Services Department Job Summary: The Digital Content Specialist applies digital marketing and content writing knowledge and expertise to support website and digital content marketing initiatives. Collaborating with multiple business units, owners, and key stakeholders, the specialist develops, repurposes, inventories, and enhances content across consumer-facing facility and clinic websites. Responsibilities: Write, ghostwrite, edit, or repurpose patient-centered copy for facility and clinic websites. Translate content intended for clinical audiences into consumer/patient-friendly information. Assist in deploying an enterprise digital content strategy to support website and content consolidation, improve SEO health and authority, and enhance patient-centered experiences online. Partner with SEO specialists to incorporate targeted keywords for improved user engagement and search engine ranking. Qualifications & Skills: Excellent writing skills and editorial ability. Ability to distill complex clinical ideas into easy-to-understand language. Demonstrated journalistic eye for identifying the heart of a story. Bachelor's Degree plus 1-2 or more years of experience in content marketing or journalism; healthcare content experience is a plus. Prior experience translating complex/technical content into consumer-friendly information. Strong critical thinking abilities and sound judgment. Ability to ensure content aligns with strategic goals and enhances the patient experience. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Experience with digital marketing and online content strategy creation and management. Foundational knowledge of SEO tactics related to content optimization. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams and stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required. Experience: 1 or more years of relevant experience is required. Physical Demands / Working Conditions: This job operates remotely and involves sitting for extended periods. It requires dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer equipment.
