POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and general maintenance of mechanical systems ofplant/production machinery.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITIONNo. DescriptionFollow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents, or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assignedRegular and predictable attendanceAnalyze, trouble-shoot, and repair mechanical problems of plant machinery. Follow up with work orders to ensure the problem is repaired properly. ;Perform regular PMs to prevent equipment downtimeAbility to read schematics and trouble-shoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLC's, and motorsEnsure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirement.Work with maintenance crew to carry out maintenance and repair projects in mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, welding functionsAttend weekly toolbox meetings and shift change meetings9.Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal and/or state required environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, fire and electrical safety codes and manuals, and standard operating procedures.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including Management, employees, and vendors.12 Working knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software configuration and troubleshooting, network configuration and troubleshooting.OTHER SIGNIFICANTJOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDENo. DescriptionProvide technical assistance to the Production Department.Search for and suggest ways to eliminate maintenance work, lengthen service life between repairs, improve uptime, and improve procedures.Attendance must be exemplary at all times.
