Investment AnalystEntry to mid-level position within one of cour client's Investment Management department. This position will be responsible for performing duties to support the firm's Portfolio Managers and other Investment Committee members. Mainly focused on equity and fixed-income research/trading with exposure and integration across complete portfolio management solutions and strategies. Analyst will provide support by completing tasks and functions associated with ongoing investment research, trading, discount monitoring, and account management for specific investment programs under the guidance of members of the Investment Committee.Responsibilities:Participate on Investment CommitteeSupport all aspects of a leading investment management operationAbility to manage multiple roles within the departmentMaintain expert knowledge of our investment holdings Curious/inquisitive mindsetDaily activities will include conducting ongoing due diligence, investment research, account management, and tradingConduct research on existing and potential equity and fixed income securities (e.g., closed-end funds, mutual funds, exchange traded funds, and other investments).Assist investment team in ad hoc projects helping to compose briefs to communicate the team's investment thoughts to internal and external constituents.Assist in asset allocation and macroeconomic research.Manage investment accounts in accordance with our investment matrices and individual client's risk tolerance.Other notable projects or duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with a record of academic achievements and concentration in finance, economics, or related fields. MBA and CFA designation (or progress towards CFA designation) is a plus.The candidate must be a motivated self-starter with an open-mind, a strong drive toward continued knowledge building, and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.The candidate must also possess strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Must have a strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
