Overview: Our Fortune 100 Client's Data Center Services team is dedicated to efficiently managing the raised floor area of the Data Center with a risk-driven approach. Our team handles the full life cycle of data center assets, including installation, inventory management, data destruction, and ensuring vendors' physical and logical security. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role in a large-scale environment, where adaptability and a keen eye for detail are crucial to our success.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain network equipment and data center asset inventory, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.Coordinate shipping of network equipment to field offices and decommission returned hardware.Provide 'remote hands' support to data center customers, resolve support tickets, and offer Level-One network troubleshooting.Test, clean, and maintain fiber and copper cables; replace SFPs as necessary.Oversee installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems and manage inventory of cabling materials.Quote, order, and manage materials for data center expansions, ensuring the availability of resources.Perform rack and stack of IT hardware and maintain accurate documentation through the DCIM system (Netterrain).Monitor facility systems, respond to abnormal conditions, and collaborate with the CEE team when necessary.Technical Skills:Must-Have:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Cable installation expertise.Experience with ServiceNow, ServiceNow ATF, and ITSM.Nice-to-Have:Experience in shipping materials and asset management.
