You will be challenged to learn and grow on our team as you help us on our journey to connect with world-class customers.DescriptionThis position is remote and can be located at any city, preferably in the western states, and close to a major airport.Customer and territory developmentEffectively build strong customer relationships, promote the client's current and future capabilities to prospects and customers, and assures the client gets qualified to participate in quotations and product development opportunitieDevelop regional sales plan to support the overall Marketing and Sales planMake customer presentations that demonstrate how the client, and its products/services provides superior customer valueVisits OEMs, spec developers, government agencies, end users, tradeshows, and conferences to obtain customer specific information on pricing, commercial terms, and expectationsExecute Commercial/Sales budget objectives and strategies and maximize value to the customerIdentify, evaluate, and submit recommendations for representatives as neededParticipates in tradeshows primarily as a relationship builderCreate customer loyalty through excellent customer service, superior technical support, and industry leading contract (order) performanceProvide and model exemplary customer service necessary to develop long-term relationships with customersHelps to drive pricing, order quantities, and reduce unprofitable products to improve margins and profitabilityQuote Pipeline ExecutionQualify and accelerate leads & inquiries into opportunitiesAssure that customer's expectations are clearly defined regarding performance, value added, schedule of deliverables, T&Cs, and payment schedulesNegotiate and accelerate the capture of opportunities Progress opportunities from the sample stage to production runsDevelop, track, and manage plans for high growth and high potential customer opportunitiesRecord and maintain client contact data utilizing CRM and trip reportsProfileBS in Business or Engineering / related field or equivalent job experience; MBA is a plusMinimum 7 years of work in sales of hermetic sealing solutions with a manufacturing company in the aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor, oil & gas, energy and industrial markets.Proven success to develop territories and representatives to profitably growth the businessAbility to read & interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specificationsAbility to work independently as a remote employeeExceptional interpersonal skillsStrong project management and time management skillsExcellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skillsAble to build strong relationships with customers, employees, and managementSolid business acumen, management reporting, and problem solvingDetail oriented, organized, a highly motivated leader of people, and champion of improvementsDemonstrated proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the InternetDemonstrated proficiency in CRM system such as SDFC, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.Expected travel is 25 to 30%WORKING CONDITIONS: Perform work at both your home office, on airplanes, in hotels, and at customer's offices. Office work is usually in a climate-controlled office environment. Time on any shop floor may be required, which can be noisy and dusty, as well as hot during the summer.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Office work involves standing and walking for brief periods, but most work is from a seated position. Travel work involves driving, flying, and walking with luggage. There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed materials & computer screens.
