30 hours per week, 12:00-6:30pm, Monday-Thursday, 12-6pm, FridayJob SummaryLocal non-profit in Tulsa seeking dedicated person to join our after school team working within a local charter school. The ideal candidates will lead a team of staff and will play a vital role in supporting grant funded educational enrichment programs within the after school environment.Administrative:· Ensure that programs adhere to organizational and grant funded policies· Collaborate with day-school teachers and administrators to assure after school activities are tied to the day school learning for students· Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers· Create schedules for monthly clubs, etc· Attend all professional developments and staff meetings· Ensure that program space within the school building is used appropriately· Maintain inventory logs for all equipmentStaffing:· Create a safe working environment where staff are free to thrive· Assist in hiring and training team members· Daily supervision and support of team members· Ensure that staff are using effective classroom management procedures· Assist in staff evaluationsFamily Support:· Work with families to enroll students to the program and monitoring their attendance· Communicate weekly with parents regarding students' progress in the program· Work with families to provide educational opportunities· Assist in organizing and coordinating family events and activitiesStudents:· Create a safe and bully free environment so students can grow and thrive· Able to prepare lesson plans using internal protocols· Lead enrichment clubs where students are engaged and learning· Provide guidance and mentorship to students on an advisory council· Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environmentRequirements:· Possess a bachelor's degree· Background in education or related field of afterschool programs· Experience working with students in an educational setting· Ability to effectively communicate and motivate students and staff· Have strong organizational skills· Able to multi task, work well under stress, and handle sudden change· Is able to be consistent at being working required hours, days, and times· Able to stay focused on job functions while at workJob DetailsSalary: $30,000 per year divided over 42 weeks each year. This is an hourly position and hours are only paid as hours are workedMonday-Friday, average of 32 1/2 hours each week, from 12pm-6:30pm
