Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Sales Assistant supporting our Milwaukee, WI sales team!This position will work with leadership to expedite and successfully transition new prospects into clients. This role will include project management, administration, and analyst functions. The Sales Assistant will work closely with sales, finance, and operations teammates to perform a variety of sales support and administrative assignments that support the overall function of the department, to include assisting with the ongoing development of our Dynamics 365 platform. This is an hourly position, requiring a hybrid schedule out of the Milwaukee office. WHAT YOU'LL DO:Assist sales team with coordinating, organizing client and prospect deliverables to include calendars, timely follow-ups, and accomplishing to-do lists.Work with Account Management Leadership to create and research client and prospect lists. This is to include relationship-mapping and developing creative ways to engage clients and prospects.Contact clients and prospects as instructed to set up meeting times, send newsworthy articles, etc.Work with Sales Executive on branding projects. This includes PowerPoint presentation for prospects and clients, marketing EBLASTS, and building social media presents for the sales executive.Assist Leadership with the planning, organization and execution of trade show events and other corporate events. This includes planning travel, organizing the promotional materials to be presented and coordinating the company participation in the event.Assist individual producer with the assembly of information and coordination of prospect and client materials for meetings.Maintain all sales data integrity, including prospect pipeline, new business, and renewals.Administer day-to-day activities of the Sales department, including data entry, data cleanup, data manipulation, report generating, pipeline tracking, and closing of new business.Integrate and maintain all sales-related data into Dynamics 365, including but not limited to: identifying prospect decision makers, updating contacts, remove old or outdated data, build out new prospect accounts, clean up existing prospect accounts, etc.Ensures the data integrity of Dynamics 365 data for reporting purposes.Execute day-to-day support, maintenance, and improvement of the Dynamics 365 platform.Compile, analyze, and report sales data in order to assist key stakeholders with benchmarking and forecasting projects.Other duties as assigned.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, marketing, insurance, or related discipline2-3 years previous successful experience in a business setting performing sales support and system administrationProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Dynamics 365 or similar Customer Relationship Management tools and platformsSolid analytical and conceptual thinking skillsStrong research and data analysis skillsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and highly developed ability to multi-task and prioritize effectivelyTech savvy, to include MS Office and social mediaStrong attention to detailDemonstrates a sense of urgencyWorks in a collaborative, team-oriented manner, fostering empowerment and ownership for service qualityDevelops and maintains a working knowledge of company systems.Interest in becoming licensed and continuing education in order to maintain the appropriate level of credentials to foster advancement within the company.WHAT WE OFFER:Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive pay based on experiencePaid Time Off (PTO)Generous benefits package: health, dental, vision, 401(k), continuing education, pet insurance, mental health resources, etc.Employee Stock Purchase Plan
