The Project Manager is responsible for taking projects from start through getting certificate of occupancy including tracking project milestones, updating the schedule and communicating with site staff and owners. Client DetailsOur client is a mid-size General Contractor that has a strong background of projects in; institutional, healthcare, government, bio-tech and general commercial.DescriptionManage construction projects from start to finish Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendorsWork closely with estimating team to update budget Keep detailed log of construction documentation including (RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders) Updating required AIA documentationTracking project milestones and reporting and issues to senior leadership Working closely with Site Superintendent to ensure project is running on timeDevelop comprehensive construction scheduleMonitor costs, including labor time and materialManage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled datesProfile4 year Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar degree8 + years of Commercial Construction Experience as Project ManagerHealthcare Construction Experience (REQUIRED)AHCA Inspection experience (PREFERRED)Experience with ProCore or similar softwareOSHA-30 Certification preferredStrong ability to read drawings and specificationsJob OfferCompetitive BaseStrong bonus structureBenefitsGas and Cell AllowancePTO & Sick Leave401(k) retirement planMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
