We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced Fleet and Small Engine Equipment Service Mechanic.Maintenance Mechanic service technician with at least 5 years experience need only apply.Our fleet includes over 35 trucks and trailers as well as 100 plus pieces of small equipment that require servicing on a scheduled basis and repairs as needed.RESPONSIBILITIES:SMALL POWER EQUIPMENT including:Cutoff sawsChainsawsScag mowersAeratorsBriggs and Stratton motorsFLEET VEHICLES including:Passenger carsPickup trucks1 ton gas and diesel trucksASSORTED MEDIUM DUTY EQUIPMENT including:Skid LoadersExcavator (12,000 lbs)Vibratory Plow / TrencherTow behind air compressorsOPERATIONS:Servicing and repairing equipment and vehiclesChanging tiresWeldingShop and yard maintenanceBuilding maintenanceAre you a good fit?A minimum of 5 years hands-on experienceAbility to diagnose gas and diesel enginesAble to troubleshoot electrical problemsStrong MIG Welding skills requiredLighting body repair and paintingDetail-oriented and skilled in record-keeping and documentation.Valid Driver's LicensePhysical fitness to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Not mandatory, but a plus if you:Are bilingual in English and Spanish.Benefits of working with Horizon Landscape:At Horizon Landscape, we are a team of talented professionals committed to taking care of each other, our clients, and our communities.
