The key to the ongoing success of the business is a system-based product portfolio featuring standard as well as custom engineered packaging machinery solutions and a superior consumable packaging product, complimented by quality technical service and readily available aftersales parts support.Summary:Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures:Troubleshoot and work with our operations team to address and resolve production issues bothmechanical/electricalTroubleshoot and repair electrical and/or control devices including AC or DC drives, contactors, motors, breakers, solenoids, power supplies, sensors,and indicator lights.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to validate work performed.Support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with a goal of continually reducing unscheduled downtime.Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted and maintain complete records of work performed.Assist in identifying required parts, maintain current inventories and reorder parts as necessary.Complete standard work.Gain a working knowledge of plant equipment and how it operates.Assists production, process engineers, and project engineers in meeting daily priorities, coverage and special projects.Assist with equipment unexpected shutdowns, change overs and line startups.Share knowledge and techniques with team members and assists with training of new personnel.Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including housekeeping of maintenance shops and toolboxes.Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:HS diploma or equivalent required.Minimum completion of (2) year vocational school or commensurate experience, preferred.Minimum (3) three years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.Intermediate to Advanced mechanical knowledge and skills.Intermediate to Advanced electrical knowledge and skills.Fundamental to applied knowledge of PLCs.Good communication skills.Good analytical skills.Works well in a team environment.Able to perform assigned duties without direct supervision.Maintenance Excellence experience preferredLean Six Sigma experience preferred.Ability to lift 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hoursExcellent Pay and Benefits package:Medical, Dental and Vision benefits401(k) retirement savings programPaid vacation and holidaysLife InsuranceEmployee assistance programsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
