If you're continually exploring the best ways to nurture Generation Alpha and eager to lead such efforts, you might be the ideal candidate for our Maker Education Fabricator: Prototyping and Experience Design role.Your Canvas:Prototyping Design and FabricationDesign and fabricate hands-on STEM camp projects in robotics, engineering, and woodworking, tailored for children aged 3-12.Interdisciplinary Learning: Utilize your intellectual curiosity to integrate multiple learning domains into a unified, interdisciplinary experience that spans STEM and beyond.Storytelling & Experience Creation: Develop thematic worlds as immersive and engaging as a Disney World ride, leveraging your storytelling skills to enhance the educational impact.Communication: Empower teachers across all NORY campuses to consistently deliver your vision, using your strong multi-channel communication skills, particularly in video formats.Child Development Insight: Apply your deep understanding of children aged 3-12 to tailor projects to their developmental stages and interests.Teacher Empathy: Train and coach teachers to become the rock stars of our campsites, enabling them to effectively utilize the tools and projects you develop.Coding Knowledge (Plus): Your coding skills will be an asset, especially for enabling older children to engage in advanced robotic projects.Application Requirements:Please include a portfolio of your maker projects in your application. We're eager to see your fabrication work in woodworking, 3D printing, laser cutting, crafts, basic electronics (circuits, motors), Arduino, computing controllers and platforms (Raspberry Pi, Microbits), and coding tools like Scratch.
