STAR7 is part of the STAR Group network.Join our team, we are looking for a:Project Management OfficerThe PMO is the technical manager of the order and manages the delivery of the orders assigned to him with the predefined quality objectives, within the times and with the agreed costs. Constantly monitors the progress of the activities at an operational and economic level and draws up reports on the activities followed.Main activities:Organize team delivery structureAddress with Service Line and delivery team technical aspects on tools, processes, and productionEnsure quality, KPI's SLA in line with clients' SOWjob progress reportsPreparation of end-of-order evaluation reportsIdentification of job management opportunities and critical issuesMonitoring of the saturation of the resources assigned to the orderEvaluation of job order KPIsSupport the SL in evaluating the performance and skills of the resources assigned to the orderCoordination of the Technical CoordinatorsResolution of technical problemsMain requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Economics, Engineering, etc.)10 years + within a managerial role managing an operations team (15 employees +)5 years + within a client-facing roleProficient in developing and maintaining budgets with 5 + years of experienceSkilled at overseeing the build and maintenance of internal schedules for all deliverablesLead and implement continuous improvement initiatives internally and with clientsExperience with traditional authoring/editing desktop publishing applications and CMS/XML (InDesign, FrameMaker, Tridion, Arbor text etc.) is preferredExperience in the Technical information content creation and associated activities (translation, printing, web-media publishing) sector is strongly recommendedAftersales experience as well as workshop and customer care are a plusKnowledge of engineering processes and engineering platform dynamics to support vehicle launches is a plusProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) SuiteAutomotive background or knowledge is a plusSelf-motivated and the ability to work independently or in a teamExceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and reprioritize tasks as neededAdvanced time management and organizational skillsExperience working across international teams with offshore activitiesWhat you'll find in STAR7:You'll become part of an organisation experiencing great growth, in a work environment characterised by developmentYou'll work in a highly qualified, complex and stimulating area.You will be supported by an expert tutor with ongoing shadowing and be able to take advantage of the experience of the entire teamJob Location: Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA
