Sourcing Associate Denim-Temp

We are looking for a Sourcing Associate for a top fashion company in New York City. The Sourcing Associate is responsible for sourcing Denim in conjunction with the product development process under the direction of the Sr. Sourcing Manager.Responsibilities: Collaborate with Sr Manager and Design on R&DCollaborate with Sr Manager in the research and development of new sourcing opportunitiesEscalate unresolved issues to upper management for quick solution by all functional teamsReceive, distribute, and send parcels for the departmentWorking with counterparts to resolve development and production issuesDaily follow up/email communications with cross functional team on shore and off shoreHandle other responsibilities and projects as assignedReceive and distribute submits, protos & parcels for the departmentReview/Ensure tech pack accuracyAssign color & NRF code (Correct NRF Duplicates)Troubleshoot style flow issuesRun Seasonal Line Matrix/PLM Accuracy report at Style/Color levelAllocate Vendors in PLM during tech pack pass offResponsible for Entefy Cost Ledger pulls and auditsSystem management for Factory/Vendor approvals (new factories, name changes, etc.)Required Qualifications:1-2 years of experience in sourcing, product development and/or productionBachelor's Degree in related fieldA textile/PD or manufacturing-related background is preferredComputer skills - Full MS Office SuiteKnowledge of or experience with PDM is helpfulIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
