Firm Overview: Our client, a prestigious plaintiff-side law firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support their litigation team by preparing for approximately 75 depositions as part of ongoing litigation. This is a full-time, temporary role through the end of the year, with a focus on fact discovery closing and managing multiple depositions for various cases.Duration: end ofSeptember- December 13th (may extend depending on workload of project)Key Responsibilities:Prepare documents and materials for depositions, including pulling documents cited in deposition outlines from EverLaw.Manage and track documents using Excel spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completion.Create hardcopy box sets, including file folders with labels, ensuring proper organization for depositions.Ensure all necessary documents are included in deposition sets, including the appropriate rules book, deposition notices, and any other relevant materials.Itemize and coordinate document shipments via FedEx, ensuring timely delivery.Support the attorney team by managing the "universe" of deposition documents and ensuring all materials are organized and accessible.Interface with the firm's paraegal coordinator and attorneys, providing virtual and in-person support as required.Assist with some scheduling and coordination, but not responsible for filing or logistics tasks, which will be handled by other staff members.Requirements:3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably on the plaintiff's side.Strong experience with deposition preparation and document management.Proficiency with EverLaw, Excel, and other document management software.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple depositions across different cases.Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with attorneys in a high-pressure environment.Availability to work through the end of December and manage a high volume of depositions.Ability to work both in-person and virtually as needed, following the firm's protocol for in-person depositions.
