Human Resources ManagerLocationWindsor, California - onsiteCompensation$90-120KYour are an experienced Human Resources Manager. We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR operations within our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing HR strategies and policies that align with both company objectives and union agreements, fostering positive employee relations, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws.What you will be doing:Labor Relations:• Serve as the primary point of contact for union representatives, fostering a cooperative and constructive relationship.• Negotiate and administer collective bargaining agreements in collaboration with senior management and legal counsel.• Address employee grievances and disputes, working to resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.• Stay abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising management accordingly.Recruitment and Onboarding• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain skilled unionized workers.• Coordinate hiring processes, including job postings, interviews, and selection decisions.• Conduct new employee orientations and oversee the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with union agreements and company policies.Employee Relations:• Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and performance management.• Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct, maintaining confidentiality and fairness throughout the process.• Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and morale within the unionized and general workforce.Training and Development:• Identify training needs within the organization and collaborate with departmental managers to develop appropriate training programs.• Facilitate training sessions on topics such as safety, diversity, and leadership development, ensuring compliance with requirements.Compensation and Benefits:• Complete weekly and bi-weekly payroll.• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including wages, healthcare, and retirement plans.• Analyze compensation data and market trends to ensure competitive pay rates and benefits packages.• Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and payroll issues.HR Administration and Compliance• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, ensuring compliance with union agreements, company policies, and regulatory requirements.• Prepare reports on HR metrics and trends for senior management review.• Collaborate with legal counsel on employment-related matters, including grievances, arbitrations, and compliance investigations.What you will bring:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field preferred• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.• In-depth knowledge of labor laws.• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.• Proven track record of building positive employee relations and fostering a collaborative work environment.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferredTo learn more about the workplace culture and the position, please apply!IND-SRO2
