gpac is partnering with a well-known equipment dealership who is looking to bring in a SERVICE MANAGER to their growing shopService Manager Responsibilities Oversees the overall performance of the Service Department and is accountable in meeting revenue, gross margin, and profit & loss goals as defined in the annual and monthly profit planManages customer relationships, the productivity of department staff, and the quality of serviceProvides leadership, guidance, coaching, and direction to the service staff to achieve department goals, by promoting the company vision, mission, and culture within the storeFollows established company policies and procedures, and clearly communicates company expectations to department staffEnforces shop safety practices and manages within OSHA guidelinesExecutes the recruitment, hiring, training, discipline, and firing to ensure that the Service Department is staffed with competent employees (within approved budgets and Complex Manager approval)Manages the appearance, upkeep, and security of the shop and related facilitiesMakes recommendations to the Store Manager on staffing and compensation requirements within the departmentInforms the Store Manager in a timely manner of any issues related to the Service operationsAttends required meetings as scheduledResponsible for any other duties as assigned by the Store ManagerService Manager Profile:2 years of service management experienceExperience as service technician preferredFamiliar with large construction or agriculture experienceAbility to lead and train a shop of service techniciansExperience with working with customersAbility to work directly with vendors and manufacturersService Manager Benefit Package:80-120k Total CompHealth/Vision/Dental InsuranceGenerous PTO401k company matchCompany VehiclePlease call 605-799-8672 if interested or email Dan.Allen@All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
