The composite material that we produce is highly durable, resilient, and lightweight, which provides Ridge Corporation with the engineering and manufacturing means to design and produce both the highest quality and best performing products in the industry.Position Summary:The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast paced, hands-on environment, supporting production by applying engineering principles to Continuous Improvement projects, Capital Equipment acquisition and commissioning, machine design, and day-to-day production support. Other duties include vendor communication, identifying Continuous Improvement opportunities, and assisting the Product Development and R&D groups.This position will be required to support production at Ridge Corporation's locations in Pataskala and Frazeysburg, Ohio.Primary Duties:Supporting production by troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements to equipmentMechanical Design of CapX projects and supporting equipmentCreating and maintaining 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Materials, Work Instructions and related documentsPerforming Project Management responsibilitiesUpgrading existing equipment to improve safety, quality and efficiencySupport the development of new products and customers through R&DRequirements:BS Mechanical Engineering6+ years of proven CAD experienceProficiency in 3D CAD software, preferable SolidWorks3+ years of project leadership experienceAbility to manage multiple projects and excellent time management skillsExcellent communication skillsMechanical design experience in a Manufacturing settingSelf-motivated, innovative, creative, and resourcefulBeneficial Skills:Robotic programing and commissioningLean Manufacturing experience - ISO / IATF / Six Sigma / OSHAExperience with manufacturing and thermoforming of composites and thermoplasticsBenefits: Position offers Comprehensive Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Pay and 401k with Company Match.For additional information: Contact Chris Poe (Recruiter) via email at Chris.poe@.Call Chris directly at 740-509-6765 (Mobile).
