We want you to join our team!We are seeking a dynamic General Manager of Transformation & Supply Chain Management to lead our digital and AI-driven supply chain journey. This high-impact role involves driving digital transformation across the supply chain and leading a diverse team. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in supply chain management and ERP implementations.The General Manager of Supply Chain will lead and optimize material handling, inventory and demand planning, materials management, logistics, investment recovery, fabrication, quality, and testing programs. This role ensures the safe, timely delivery of quality materials and services, reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with procurement, operations, asset management, safety, and finance teams to deliver value-added solutions and best-in-class service.Location: Hybrid (see below), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at New Manchester facilityResponsibilities:Lead, mentor, and inspire a large team across key supply chain functions. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Direct team through ERP change and implementation of new systems and related processes.Foster an inclusive work environment by recognizing and rewarding collaborative teamwork.Lead and integrate Warehouse/Distribution activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment, and managing inventory processes to minimize costs.Oversee Shops activities, focusing on cost-effective production of items not available for purchase.Foster a sustainable safety culture in alignment with EHS and Union Leadership.Sponsor and support safety committees within the Supply Chain and CFO organizations.Provide data and recommendations on tracking, costing, and usage alternatives.Serve as the primary contact for materials and logistics requirements for infrastructure programs.Support emergency and storm-related material needs, leading and participating in relevant conference calls.Collaborate with Procurement on Investment Recovery and Disposition matters.Direct logistics operations, including transportation and warehouse activities.Facilitate deployment meetings and resolve issues promptly.Keep senior management informed of progress, issues, and projected completion dates.Prepare weekly and monthly reports on accomplishments, concerns, and metrics.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve functional, organizational, and procedural issues.Prepare the Annual Budget for responsible departments and manage to them. Hold employees accountable for performance using metrics to achieve department goals.Ensure team manages cycle counts and physical inventories effectively and addresses discrepancies.Optimize inventory turns and reduce obsolete and slow-moving items.Implement continuous improvements in inventory management and material flow.Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety codes.Establish and maintain Supply Chain procedures and policies.Storm roles as appropriate to their role and skillset.Education/Requirements:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, or relevant field required. Master's degree, PhD, or relevant certification(s) preferred. Ten (10+) or more years of relevant leadership experience required.
