This positions is an onsite position and available for remote work. General Summary:Serves as a key member of the organization's leadership team and is responsible for leading the vision, strategy, development and execution of organizational effectiveness, talent and culture management programs aimed at advancing the mission and enhancing business results. Ensures the development and advancement of an empowered, values-driven workplace culture, and actively plan for, address, and forecast future talent and culture needs inclusive of change management. Overall, the Director will offer timely, forward-thinking counsel on all issues related to the organization's use of talent and culture in support of its mission of developing and delivering aviation solutions to our partners.Essential Job Functions:Develop both tactical and strategic plans to deliver employee engagement and satisfaction for growth and talent retention.Proactively and effectively addresses components of workplace culture that impede organizational and individual effectiveness in a manner consistent with the organization's values of unmatched quality, uncompromising integrity, and unbeatable customer service.Evolve a leadership development model and framework to ensure Elliott Aviation has the current and future leadership capabilities needed.Areas of focus is the development of high potentials through a blended learning experience, develop first time leadership training to prepare leaders to manage, and ensure all leaders are career coaches.Continuously evaluate compensation structures and benefits programs, using data-driven insights to ensure fairness, transparency, and alignment with evolving market conditions, while fostering employee satisfaction and engagement.Proactively monitor changes in employment law, providing guidance on the necessary updates to company policies and practices to mitigate risk and ensure compliance, with a focus on fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.Oversees the overall talent acquisition efforts to ensure recruiting targets are achieved. Provides guidance on recruiting issues as they arise, develop yearly business plans, align resources and drive results. Develop and drive pipeline strategies including schools and other community programs.Oversees, develops, and forecasts talent acquisition with value-added metrics and analyzes and reports in a manner that aligns with and supports the organization's strategic short- and long-term business objectives.Create a measurement methodology to inform data driven decisions and insights about the identification of critical talent, the impact of leadership strategy and blended development plans, and determine investment strategies for people, programs or supporting technology solutions.Enhance talent and succession planning process that identifies potential leaders earlier in their careers for customized development, ensures ready now successors for critical roles, and facilitates robust talent review to continuously adjust selection and development process.Build a development driving coaching/mentoring program to support planned learning and personal insights.Build an organizational commitment to talent and leadership development initiatives by demonstrating the delivered value of the investment in the development of employees.Drive a culture of continuous improvement and leads the efforts to streamline human capital workflows, data collection and analysis to increase efficiency.Partner with operations and sales to understand business needs and effectively source and deliver talent necessary to achieve business outcomes.Manages the compliance and maintenance of the safety programs, as well as the technical training programs in compliance with ISO FAA & Company requirements.Performs other duties as required.Job Specific Requirements:Competencies:The successful candidate will be a professional with high executive demeanor and the confidence to represent the company as a key internal leader and external ambassador.Highly flexible, relationship-oriented individual with experience in the direct development and implementation of talent and executive development methodologies that have been proven drivers of improved business performance.Presentation Skills - Have the skills to effectively communicate to an audience in a formal setting.Business Acumen - Understands general business and financial conceptsThrive in a matrix environment and promote strong teamwork across business groups and functions by sharing ideas and information.The position requires strong relationship management skills, high levels of resourcefulness, influence/organizational savvy, strategic vision, execution skills, and executive presence.Physical Demands:Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk and hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds.Occasionally required to climb or balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, grasp or pull, and lift up to 25 pounds.Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises.Education and Experience:10+ years' experience in progressive HR/OD; 8+ years of management experience, creating and facilitating leadership, learning, career development and/or other related OD processes within a complex organization.A proven track-record of advancing a corporate culture and successfully leading significant change management initiativesBS/BA Required (degree in HR or other business-related field a plus)Experience leading talent acquisition across multiple functional areas including executive search, professional recruitment, and sourcing contingent workforce.Knowledge of relevant employment and labor laws and diversity practices.Experience with HR technologies, including Applicant Tracking Systems and MS Office applicationsDemonstrated computer proficiency is a must including experience using MS Office applications and HRIS.
