Open to relocation of candidates in the United States, Canada, and Mexico (TN-Visa candidates are welcome to apply).Title: Electrician - SteelmakingLocation: Mobile, AL area (relocation provided) Salary: DOE 20% target bonus and excellent benefitsTerm: Full-time3rd Party C2C/Transfer: NoReferral Fee: $2000 - Refer qualified colleagues, friends, or family.Relocation: Yes - full packagePlease reply with an updated resume in Microsoft Word format JOB DESCRIPTION:The ideal candidate will provide on-site electrical maintenance support through technical leadership and continuous optimization of process improvement within the highly automated Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Metallurgy Facility (LMF), Vacuum Tank Degasser, and Caster to meet the business goals of the company.Bonus Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required5 years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting requiredAbility to read and understand electrical drawings and understand electrical/electronic components/invertersAbility to read and understand hydraulic and mechanical drawings as well as P&ID'sIn depth knowledge of AC motors, drives, sensors and actors; knowledge of Power distributionFamiliar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)Internship or Associates Degree preferredExperience in the steel industry preferredPrefer experience and knowledge of furnaces, power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, automation systems, measurement systems, instrumentation equipment, and/or hydraulic systemsMakes good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forwardHolds self and others accountable to meet commitmentsTakes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasmBuilds partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesAdapts approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situationsTypical day-to-day duties:Project Execution and Start-up phase:Perform construction site safety walkthroughsAssist in the development of maintenance procedures prior to startupEnsure HIRAC safety reviews are performed for electrical proceduresAssist in the development of energy control procedures and ensure they meet operational needsPerform electrical early equipment reviews of OEM equipmentOperations phase:Performs maintenance inspections and repairs including, but not limited to, electrical components, instrumentation, motors and etc.Analysis, solving, and reporting of electrical problems and failuresSupport the development and implementation of continuous improvement projectsEnsure proper safety, environmental, and quality of asset area(s)Perform and assist in Lock Out Try Out of equipment, systems, and sub-systems
