Our client is looking for an experienced Traveling Superintendent with at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically with tilt wall experience. Projects ranging from self-storage, distribution center, warehouse and big box retail. This is a great opportunity to join a nationwide TOP ENR General Contractor and have autonomy in the construction site. Client DetailsClient has 50+ years in the construction industry with a strong presence across the country. They are an employeed-owned TOP ENR General Contractor with a diverse portfolio of commercial projecs.DescriptionPrimary site leader of all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers.Establish project plan, maintain weekly progress and pulse of project.Manage and coordinate all job site operations.Manage labor and subcontractors to ensure work quality and on-time delivery of services.Maintain positive relationship with Owners, Design Consultants, and PM's.Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility company representatives to ensure compliance.Strictly enforce Safety Program and manage the Quality Control ProgramPrepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules.Manage accurate invoice payment process and financial management of the project costs.Resolve day to day field issues.Prepare daily reports with all manpower and significant activities.Profile5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as a SuperintendentComfortable with traveling across the Southeast regionGround-up project experience preferredExperience with self storage, tilt wall, big box, distribution center projects preferredMixed commercial and light industrial construction experience preferredBachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.Proficient in Microsoft Projects, Procore, Sage Construction 100.Strong communication skills, capable of effectively managing team interactions and complex project negotiations.Excellent multitasking abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects without compromising quality.Job OfferBase salary range: $110,000 - $120,000 Traveling Per DiemMedical insuranceVision insuranceDental insurance401(k)ESOP..and more!MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
