In this role, the Account Service Representative will support sales by entering customer orders, actively monitoring inventory levels, and communicating all product delays and changes to the retailer and or sales team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Efficiently and accurately enter sales orders.Maintain constant and effective communication with retailers and sales team in a courteous manner regarding order status, updates, delays, price changes, promos, etc.Independently and in a timely and professional manner, respond to retailer questions and complaints regarding deliveries and/or billing.Perform regular analysis of sales data (historical and current) identifying trends, presenting findings and making recommendations.Prioritize, fulfill and ship sales orders timely and accurately.Work closely with warehouse team ensuring sales orders are shipped both timely and economically.Work with credit department regarding payment and credit issues.Assist with resolving retailer chargebacks.Escalates complex issues as per department protocol.Actively participate in continuously seeking ways to improve retailer experience, work flow procedures, best practices, policies, etc.Perform other duties as assigned.This position description is intended to provide a summary of the major duties, tasks, and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered an exhaustive listing of all work requirements.Requirements and Qualifications:Experience & Education:Minimum five (5) years in retail sales or customer service.Related industry experience highly desirable.College Degree related field or equivalent combination of training and work experience.Skills & Knowledge:Demonstrates effective listening skills.Exceptional customer service skills and telephone etiquette.Strong math and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to exercise good judgement.Exhibits strong work ethic.Team orientation with strong integrity and professionalism.Possess superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff; leads by example.Demonstrates accurate typing and data entry skills.Technology:Experience working with retailer portals and EDI transmissions requiredWell versed in various communication platforms; telephone, email, live chat, WebEx, live video, etc.Familiar with ERP solutions; SAP highly desirable.Proficiency in MS Office and Internet skillsAbility to learn new software with easeOtherAbility to work overtime as business needs warrant.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
