We are committed to fostering an inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute to our cause.Job Overview:The Employee Relations Manager will play a critical role in managing employee relations, promoting a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and employment laws. The role requires a strong background in HR practices, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of employee engagement and conflict resolution. You will act as a trusted advisor to management and staff, handling employee concerns and fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.This position will require travel, and you will be reimbursed. Key Responsibilities:Employee Relations Management: Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations issues, mediating conflicts, and providing guidance on organizational policies and procedures.Policy Development & Implementation: Develop and enforce policies related to workplace conduct, performance management, and compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.Conflict Resolution: Address employee concerns, conduct investigations into complaints, and resolve workplace conflicts to promote a positive and productive work environment.Training & Development: Design and deliver employee training programs on communication, teamwork, and leadership, ensuring a harmonious and engaged workforce.Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, working with supervisors and employees to set goals, evaluate performance, and address performance issues.Legal Compliance: Ensure organizational compliance with labor laws, including wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination regulations, and workplace safety standards.Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee morale, improve retention, and create a supportive organizational culture aligned with the nonprofit's values.Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to align employee relations strategies with organizational goals and mission-driven objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a similar role.Experience working in a nonprofit organization is a plus.Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Conflict resolution and mediation skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) retirement planProfessional development opportunitiesFlexible work environment
