Medical Billing and Coding Specialist's needed! We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for accurately preparing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical billing codes and procedures will contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.Responsibilities:Reviewing patient information and medical records to accurately code diagnoses and proceduresPreparing and submitting medical claims to insurance companiesVerifying insurance eligibility and coverage for patientsFollowing up on unpaid claims and denials, and appealing when necessaryResolving billing discrepancies and answering patient inquiries regarding their billsKeeping up-to-date with changes in medical billing codes and regulationsMaintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelinesRequirements:Miminimum of two years' medical billing and coding;computer literacy;and effective interpersonal skills.Contact reagan.allen@ or 469-317-2954We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
