About PreludePrelude is a cutting-edge clinical data management software company dedicated to simplifying and enhancing the clinical trial process for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. Our cloud-based platform empowers clinical operators by providing secure, compliant, and efficient data management solutions. We are currently enhancing our technology stack and are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team to further streamline our development and deployment processes.As a DevOps Engineer at Prelude, you will play a critical role in building, improving, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes. You will collaborate closely with our development and QA teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and secure delivery of our clinical data management software. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and compliance of our platform in a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:· Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure in a cloud environment (AWS and LightEdge).· Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment, testing, and monitoring to streamline product releases.· Ensure infrastructure adheres to industry standards, including regulatory requirements for clinical trials such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and GDPR.· Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks (infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, etc.).· Set up robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system health, performance, and scalability.· Work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and IT security to optimize development workflows and ensure secure, high-quality product delivery.· Implement and manage tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible to support and improve the deployment process.· Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot system issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future outages.Requirements:· 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or sys. engineering roles.· Proficiency with AWS· Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).· Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).· Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).· Familiarity with security best practices and regulatory frameworks (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, etc.) in the clinical or healthcare sectors is a plus.· Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.· Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.· Experience in highly regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, biotech) a plus.What We Offer:· Competitive salary and benefits.· 401K, health and dental insurance.· Hybrid working environment.· Unlimited PTO.· Opportunity to work on innovative solutions in clinical trials.· A collaborative team dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes.
