Caribbean Food Delights (CFD) a privately owned company, located in Tappan, Rockland County, NY, is the leading manufacturer of Jamaican Style Patties: Beef, Chicken and Vegetable. This state-of-the-art facility is SQF certified. We are looking for a Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) HR Assistant with minimum two years related experience to provide overall assistance in the HR department.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:· Answer phones for the HR department and respond to questions and inquiries.· Handle employment application intake.· Assist with new employee orientations and follow-up paper work processing.· Perform a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of HR/personnel records and reports.· Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employees' records and information.· Assist in the recruitment process; Interact with and supply information to job applicants, employees, department managers, public and private agencies.· Prepare job postings and post accordingly.· Respond to reference checks and verifications of employment status.· Assist the manager with HR projects and tasks, filing and completion of HR forms.· Assist with benefits administration.
