We are expanding our Talent Acquisition team to continue driving growth and meeting the hiring demands of our fast-paced industry.Position Summary:An HR Manager is responsible for assisting with all aspects of human resources operations within the organization. Playing a critical role in enforcing HR policies and procedures to support GIS' overall objectives and foster a positive work environment. This position requires a combination of in person hands-on interaction and excellent interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:• Conduct companywide Job Analysis to provide a baseline for both Job Descriptions and Compensation analysis. Assist with creating Job Descriptions, setting performance standards and compensation wage bands. • This role requires frequent travel, approximately 30% to conduct job analysis; attend team and company meetings; and assist with investigations • Work with the Onboarding and team as needed to ensure timeliness and completion of required documentation. • Work with the HR Investigator for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions and grievances. • Work in conjunction with Risk and Compliance to ensure accuracy and compliance with all employment laws and company policies. • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team regarding selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and assisting with the hiring process. Develop and implement effective strategies to attract and retain top talent in conjunction with TA. Support TA at recruitment events and career fairs. Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, Skills: In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools, and human resources software. Strong empathy and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing tasks. Attention to detail and analytically driven. Use of Microsoft 365 software, and the ability to use HRIS management systems. Computer proficiency (MS office - Word, Excel, and Outlook). Physical Requirements:Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office setting. The role may require occasional travel for recruiting events, job fairs, or to GIS field sites.Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
