LHH is currently recruiting a Construction Paralegal for a large and well-respected law firm client in Raleigh, NC. The construction paralegal will assist assigned attorneys in supporting their clients in the construction industry (contractors, owners and developers) with their litigation and transactional legal requirements. Firm offers a competitive salary and an inviting, accommodating and respectful work culture.ResponsibilitiesComposing, transcribing and editing of discovery documents, pleadings, motions, affidavits and other materialsMaintain and monitor docket and court deadlinesFiling of documents in state and federal courtMaintaining and organizing case and client filesLiaise with outside consultants, managing files and information flowManagement and tracking of client communicationsQualificationsMinimum of three years of recent legal experience supporting construction industryBachelor/u2019s degree preferredParalegal certification and/or NC Certification preferredKnowledge of court procedures and rules in federal and state courtsProficiency in legal research platformsStrong project and case management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailFirm offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, vision and life insurance; 401(k) w/ profit sharing; PTO; and HSA and FSA options.Would you like to learn more about the Construction Paralegal job that LHH is recruiting for in Raleigh NC?
