Piping Design Drafter

Job Title: Piping Design DrafterJob Description:We are looking for a motivated Piping Design Drafter to join our Design Drafting Group. In this role, you will work closely with onsite engineers to create and update piping designs, ensuring effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Create new isometric and design drawings for retrofit projects and new systems based on engineered field walks and scope of work.Collaborate with other design drafters (instrumentation, P&ID) to ensure integrated design solutions.Participate in the development of capital project packages, including Issue for Approval (IFA), Issue for Construction (IFC), and As-Builts.Conduct field walkdowns for drawing verification and maintain familiarity with onsite Refining Engineering Practices (REPs) and relevant standards.Preferred: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and stress analysis calculations on piping systems using Cesar, and utilize laser scanning for accurate field measurements.Requirements:Ability to work onsite 40 hours per week during core business hours (M-F, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm)Proficiency in AutoCADStrong communication skills and attention to detail.Must meet all site entry requirements, including maintaining a clean-shaven appearance, holding a TWIC Card, and completing yearly contractor training.Join our team and contribute to innovative piping design solutions in a dynamic refinery environment!
