Senior inventory System Control Clerk located in Clifton, NJ for a company I represent that are considered a Federal Contractor as they make radios and other communication devices for the Military and 1st Responders. Pay Rate:$24 per hourShfit mid shift 11 am to 7:30 pm Monday through FridayWhat You Need to Bring to the Table:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior related experience.Must be able to lift 40 pounds.Must be able to accommodate overtime nights/weekends and the potential to work second shift as needed.Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.What You Will Be Doing:Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices.Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.Maintains records of received goods, packing sheets, and other documents.Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification. Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.Perform picking and kitting per partsList and verify all related documentation for accuracy and set-up kit for delivery to manufacturing.Perform receiving by verifying parts against receiving manifest for accuracy and quantity.Perform Put-away of material received ensuring all transactions are complete.Execute requisitions for items in stockroom, secure correct materials, and issues to requesting department.Perform cycle counts and reconcile counts utilizing various applications and systems.Perform weekly purge of expendables in accordance with provided shelf-life procedure and tracking sheets.forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification.
