This individual will be responsible for compiling and maintaining personnel records, weekly earnings, supervisory reports, providing leadership and support in functional areas of human resources including recruitment, employment, personnel records, employee relations, benefits administration and payroll. Provide Human Resource Manager services including compliance with regulatory agenciesProvide direction to employees in resolution of problems related to benefits, company policies and regulations, etc.Schedule and create project assignment to meet completion dates.Source, screen, and recommend candidates for employment and conduct new employee orientation.Develop, write, and update equal opportunities programs.Facilitate internal/external Health and Wellness activities.Create and facilitate communication and employee involvement initiatives.Administer local salary performance review procedure, and employment related policies and procedures.Support administration of Worker's Compensation BACKGROUND PROFILE:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Related Field7 or more years' experience in Human Resources in a management roleAbility to respond to significant inquiries or issues from employees, managers, or government agenciesExcellent interpersonal and written skills - with good basic computer skillsAbility to effectively build relationships at all levels of the organizationExperience in successfully resolving employee relations issues and creating / maintaining positive employee relationsGood understanding of workers compensationSPHR or PHR certification is a plus
